About Soccer
Everyone is welcome to come and participate during Soccer tryouts. During that time, you will be practicing skills and getting evaluated by the coaches. After the try out period is over roster/cuts adjustments are made to have a competitive varsity team. The roster size is approximately 20 players each for the official team. Practices and the games are so fun to be at even if you just come to support the team and watch. The Girls are coming off a great season where they took 1st in the South Division and made it to the CCAC Semifinals and will be looking forward to another CCAC championship run this year.
* Just a reminder that if your child makes the Varsity roster it does not guarantee playing time or equal playing time. After the Varsity roster is set, it will be treated as a varsity sport and the coaches will be playing the appropriate players and make adjustments as needed. We will always strive to get everyone playing time when we can.
* If your child does not make the Varsity roster please don’t give up! There are different organizations to join to ensure you are getting to play and have playing time. There will also be the enrichment after school sports club which is a fun time for the kids. This is from 4-5 PM Monday through Thursday with Mr. Roberts.
