Congratulations, Avery Palmer and Mia Demjanczuk for being selected into the All-State Choir and All-state Honors Orchestra!

Congratulations to Avery Palmer and Mia Demjanczuk for being selected into the All-State Choir and All-state Honors Orchestra, recently. Ms. Ceto and PRMS are quite proud of them.

Congratulations, Ashling and Liam! They will be representing PRMS at this year's CCPS Honors Orchestra performance.

Ms. Ceto, orchestra teacher, just announced that Ashling Mammadova (8th grade) and Liam Tran (6th grade) will be representing PRMS at this year's CCPS Honors Orchestra performance. It was a highly competitive audition and both students secured a spot in the violin I section. We are all super proud of these students. Many congratulations to them and their teacher.

Congratulations, Mr. C., for your Certificate of Phenomenality!

Congratulations to Mr. Dominick Cisneros, one of our 8th grade science teachers, for recently being presented with a plaque from Discovery Education. It was a CERTIFICATE OF PHENOMENALITY for doing an awesome job of teaching our students about various science phenomena. The certificate reads  Science Techbook for Florida Phenomenal Teacher Recognition. We are proud of you, Mr. C.

Congratulations, Avery!

Such exciting news for Pine Ridge! Ms. Perini nominated Avery Searles as the FCDI (speech and debate) student to earn a trip to Tallahassee. Avery won a spot to attend this event. She will travel with her mom to Tallahassee on Feb.16th-17th. While there, she will attend a tour of the state capitol building, meet state officials, and witness the state law process. She will also meet State Supreme Court justices. Congratulations, Avery!

PRMS Family Spotlight - Ms. Shaniya Morris (School Psychologist)

Ms. Shaniya Morris was awarded CCPS School Psychologist of the Year- Early Career for the 2024-2025 school year.

Ms. Shaniya Morris was awarded CCPS School Psychologist of the Year- Early Career for the 2024-2025 school year. She serves the students of Pine Ridge and Golden Gate Middle School. Ms. Morris brings positivity and compassion to our entire student body through her work with student services and MTSS.

PRMS Family Spotlight - Kathleen O'Brien (ESE Teacher)

Congratulations to Ms. Kathleen O'Brien, ESE teacher, for finishing her latest chorus role as a factory worker and flamenco dancer in the opera Carmen, which was performed at Artis-Naples, the Barbara B. Mann theater, and the Charlotte Performing Arts Center.

Word has it that the Gulfshore Opera Carmen production was the best audiences had ever seen!

Ms. O'Brien has performed in multiple operas and operettas each year over the past decade with Opera Naples and Gulfshore Opera and is currently rehearsing for Elixir of Love, Turandot, and a concert entitled Voices of Triumph, which will be performed at Opera Naples Festival Under the Stars in March.
